Talamanca

Talamanca is a long beach with white sand. It is on the north side of Ibiza Town, next to Marina Botafoch, a port for yachts. Since it is one of the three urban beaches, it is very popular and well-known.

Getting there:

This beautiful beach is 2.6 kilometres away from the town of Ibiza. Follow the long wooden promenade of the port to get there. From the Ibiza port, it takes 15 minutes to walk, 10 minutes to ride a bike, or 5 minutes to drive. There are bus stops nearby that go to the city centre. Bus lines 10, 12B, and 13 stop near Talamanca Beach, Ibiza. The City Boat, a small boat that goes from the main port to the end of Marina Botafoch, is the most charming way to get there. Riding the boat is a great way to see Dalt Vila, and the route is just as beautiful as in Venice.

Talamanca is known as the "Beach of Ibiza Town" because of how close it is to the main port, how clear the water is, and how long the beach is. Emil Cioran, a Romanian writer, went to Ibiza in 1966. His trip there inspired him to write a book called "Notebook from Talamanca." The marina in Talamanca is split into two parts: the Marina Botafoch, which is closest to Talamanca and has high-end restaurants and shops, and the Marina Nueva, which is closer to Ibiza Town and where the ferries to Formentera leave from.

A Sea of Possibilities aims to make it possible for people with special needs to do adventure activities, games, sports, and therapeutic activities at sea. Talamanca Hostel

The restaurant at Talamanca Hostel is well-known and the oldest on this beach. It is quiet and comfortable, with a nice terrace where you can watch the blue line of the sea. The food is Mediterranean and international, with paella, fresh fish, and seafood being some of the most popular dishes. Chef Archi makes fresh sardines on the grill twice a week just for them.

Nobu Ibiza Bay Restaurant

Sa Punta

Sa Punta is at the farthest point of Talamanca Bay. It is an attractive restaurant where locals and people from all over the world meet and enjoy the views of Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage Site while eating delicious food and drinking great drinks on the terrace. The food is a mix of flavours from the Mediterranean Sea, Lebanon, and East Asia.

The best nightclubs near Talamanca are Heart Ibiza and Pacha. Along the bay are well-known hotels like the Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, Destino Pacha Resort, OD Talamanca, Hotel Lux Isla, Hotel Argos, Hostal Talamanca, and the Hotel Simbad Ibiza & Spa.


Hotels like the Sir Joan Hotel, Hotel Ibiza Corso, El Hotel Pacha, and Ibiza Gran Hotel are on the main street, Passeig Joan Carles I, which leads to the marina at Marina Botafoch. And, of course, there are a few nice and expensive restaurants on the Marina Botafoch: Lio Ibiza, Blue Marlin Ibiza Marina, Capuccino Marina Ibiza, Restaurante Trattoria de Mar, and STK Ibiza for drinks. Or, you can go to the legendary Bar Flotante, Xiringuito Sa Punta, Restaurante Bellamar, or Talamanca Beach Club Pizzeria.

Tips:

Because of where Talamanca is, it has restaurants, bars, and hotels that are open all year. Locals and tourists who come during the off-season love the beach, the view, and the laid-back atmosphere. If you stay in Ibiza before May or after September, you can always find what you're looking for. Talamanca Beach and the area around it are well-known. During high season, try to book your room, table, sunbed, and umbrella at a beach restaurant ahead of time.
