An idyllic beach
Bathing at the Roda resort is safe for kids and people who don't know how to swim well because the water is shallow, mostly calm, and clear. Some of the hotels and bars in the area let you use their swimming pools for free, but you have to buy at least a small drink. The beach in Roda is flat and made of sand, with some small pebbles mixed in. It is cleaned every day. Like at similar resorts, you can rent an umbrella and a deck chair for the whole day and spend the day sunbathing and having fun in the water without worrying about anything. There are many sports for people who want a rush of adrenaline, such as water skiing, paragliding, Ringo, riding a banana boat, and many more.
It is possible to find golden sands along the entirety of Roda's coastline, and the beach's length of seven kilometres ensures that there is enough room for everyone to spread out and relax in the shade of a sunlounger that they have rented. Due to the fact that Roda's coasts are so spotlessly clean, the island was given the prestigious "Blue Flag" designation. This distinction makes Roda an unrivalled destination for families with children who like playing in the shallow waters and couples looking for a romantic getaway. If you are looking for low-cost all-inclusive vacations in Greece, the beautiful beaches here won't have to try very hard to convince you to come here.
Pedal and banana boats are two types of watercraft that may be rented along the beach from various companies that specialise in water sports and offer reasonable rates. Even though the town itself is lovely and charming, the beach can provide action and excitement for the whole family, even if the town itself is quaint and charming. Some activities that may be enjoyed at the beach include parasailing and water skiing.

Along the length of the street that runs down to the beach, there is a seemingly endless string of locally owned and operated establishments. These businesses allow visitors to partake in activities such as karaoke with people from Roda and savour delectable cuisine that chefs from other countries have expertly prepared. Doric temple
Roda, archeological interest
In the 1960s, excavations in Roda turned up the remains of an old temple. It was found in the Roda village, right on the coast. The temple was built in the 5th century and is 21.40 m long and 11.65 m wide. Water has worn away many of the local stone used to build it.
The main church has two parts: the treasury (vestibule) and the nave, where cult statues and gifts are kept. Only the temple's foundations remain. From these, we can tell that the temple had six columns on the short sides and eleven on the long sides.
The columns were all the same size. The colonnades held up the roof and kept the people inside safe from the weather. A few pieces of the church's clay and marble decorations, as well as pieces of figures and relief tiles, have been saved. The altar of the temple, which is 2.30 m long and 12 m wide, runs along the front of the temple. It was used to make offerings and sacrifices. The new Archaeological Museum of Corfu has things that were found during the dig.
