We are delighted to welcome Mike Eden as a core member of the YourHolidays bridge team — Mike Eden is one of the most respected and experienced bridge teachers in the UK, with a long and distinguished career spanning teaching, directing, and playing at the highest levels.

Mike holds the EBU “Ace of Clubs” ranking — one of the highest distinctions awarded under the English Bridge Union’s National Grading Scheme. This places him firmly within the top tier of competitive bridge players in the UK, reflecting not only his skill at the table but also a long-standing commitment to the game and its teaching.

A professional member of the EBU Teaching Association and a qualified club director for both the EBU and the ACBL, Mike has taught thousands of players at all levels and helped develop the EBU’s Fast Track “Learn Bridge in 24 Hours” course.

Alongside his wife Carrie — also a Premier Life Master — Mike has delivered engaging bridge sessions on P&O Cruises, Fred Olsen, Ambassador, SAGA, and the QEII, as well as winning and placing in prestigious events such as the London Swiss Pairs and Surrey & London Teams.

Mike and Carrie bring warmth, energy, and deep expertise to every bridge holiday — combining serious play with plenty of fun, social engagement, and one-on-one support.
